The West Balkan Research database is funded by the European Commission within the "ERA WESTBALKAN+" project.
This online directory provides a database of universities, institutions and companies active in R&D in West Balkan Countries (WBCs), i.e. Albania, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Croatia, FYR of Macedonia, Montenegro and Serbia.
It allows searching the West Balkan research landscape against all themes of activities defined within the 7th EU-Framework Programme (FP7), organisation type and geographical region for a simple and successful identification of R&D collaboration partners.
European R&D players can benefit from a broad pool of R&D profiles from WBCs for potential strategic partnerships and international R&D cooperation.
West Balkan R&D players can profit from international visibility paving the way for potential R&D networks and cooperation with partners inside and outside Western Europe.

ERA WEST BALKAN+ project
|
As follow-up project ERA WESTBALKAN+ project's main objective is to accelerate the opening up of the European Research Area to the Western Balkan Countries (WBCs), i.e. Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, FYR of Macedonia, Montenegro and Serbia.
Important networking, twinning, and training activities between National Contact Points (NCPs) from WBCs and their NCP colleagues in Member States and Candidate Countries are foreseen!
The present database provides the possibility to increase the visibility of universities, organisations and researchers active in R&D in WBCs. Furthermore, European R&D players herewith benefit from a broad pool of R&D profiles from WBCs for potential strategic partnerships and international R&D cooperation.
