 Activities in Research and Development

 RTD sectors:
» Micro and Nanotechnologies
» Industrial manufacture
» Plant Engineering and maintenance
» Materials technology

 Area of expertise (keywords)
» Synthesis of nanoparticled materials by the use of the most appropriate contemporary methods depending of the material type and chemical composition. The used methods are mechanochemical (ball-milling) and chemical (precipitation) methods as well as recently developed methods such as colloidal dispersions
» reverse micelles
» polymer and zeolite matrices -Structural properties characterization of obtained materials: mean particle size and size distribution
» crystal structure
» defects and impurities. -Systematic investigation of the targeted physical properties (especially magnetic
» conducting) as well as their modification under variation of different parameters. The goal is to select materials with the most convenient properties for applications
