 Description of RTD activities
Research fields of Dr. Nevena Ribarac-Stepic are biochemistry, molecular biology and molecular endocrinology that comprise molecular mechanisms of hormone action. Starting by investigation of structural and functional alterations in steroid receptors induced by homologous and heterologous hormonal ligands, she has expanded research on cross-talk between insulin and steroid hormone actions under physiological and pathological states.

 Experiences in international Programmes
Molecular Mechanisms of Steroid Hormone Action Partner: Virinder K. Moudgil, Ph.D., Professor and Chairman, Department of Biological Sciences, Oakland University, Rochester, Michigan, USA (former colaboration).
Crosstalk Between Insulin Receptor System and Renin-Angiotensin System Under Physiological and Pathophysiological Conditions Partner: Stefan Zorad, Ph.D., Laboratory of Metabolic Regulations, Institute of Experimental Endocrinology, Slovak Academy of Sciences
