Description of RTD activities
Developing original software for numerical simulation of linear and nonlinear 1-D and 2-D wave propagation. Studying linear and nonlinear soil-structure interaction accompanying wave propagation through civil engineering structures. Investigation of seismic energy and power propagation through the structures.
Experiences in international Programmes
-Participation in two scientific projects supported from USGS and METRANS.
-Eight published papers in ISI journals (journals with impact factors).
-Member of International Working Group of Rotational Seismology.
-Earned PhD degree at Univ. of Southern California, Los Angeles (USC) after completing PhD program at USC, 2005.
-Participation and attendance of US-Japan Workshop of Natural Resources, San Francisco, CA, 2003
-Invited paper on the first, constitutive workshop on the International Working Group of Rotational Seismology, Menlo Park, CA, 2007
