Experiences in international Programmes Faculty organizes intensive scientific research activities through different international and national projects. Currently Faculty members coordinate 23 national projects and participate in 18 national projects related to the basic research program of the National Ministry for Science and Education. Moreover, we have 7 national projects in the Technology development program. Amongst international programs we can mention: European FP6 and FP7 programs, the Interreg program, Tempus projects, WUS funded projects, DAAD projects, CEEPUS networks and the COST program.
We have a long tradition of cooperation with both industry and authorities (e.g. municipal, regional and state authorities), and in providing services with the aim of development and strengthening institutional capacities. This cooperation is realized mainly through the provision of intellectual and laboratory services to companies, but also through the inclusion of their staff in the particular research and development projects they are interested in.
